About ScoreWire

ScoreWire is a reference site for two kinds of readers: people who want to understand how a sport works, and people who want plain-language explanations of crypto cards.

What you will find here

Sports explainer guides. We write guides to the rules, competition formats and common terms of football, basketball, baseball, esports, cricket, muay thai, table tennis and badminton. The aim is to help a new fan follow a match and help a regular fan check a rule they are not sure about. These are evergreen guides, not match reports.

Crypto card explainers. We publish articles that explain how crypto cards work: how a card is funded, what fees and limits usually look like, and what to check before signing up for one.

Crypto card comparison. Our Crypto Cards page lists a number of crypto cards side by side, with a reference page for each card. It is meant as a starting point for your own research. Card terms change, so always confirm the details with the card provider before you apply.

Who writes ScoreWire

Articles are published under the ScoreWire Team byline rather than individual names. Writing, editing and translation are a shared effort, and the byline reflects that.

Five language editions

ScoreWire has five editions: English, Thai, Chinese, Filipino and Vietnamese. Site pages and the crypto card pages are available in all five languages. Articles are currently published in English, and the other editions show the English articles until their own versions are ready.

What we do not do

ScoreWire does not publish betting tips, picks, predictions for wagering or odds. Nothing on this site is financial, investment or tax advice. Crypto assets and crypto cards carry risk, and you should make your own decisions based on the provider’s official terms.

Corrections

We would rather fix an error than leave it standing. When we find a mistake in a guide, an article or a card page, we correct it.
